Rebecca
Rebecca Ruth Gould is Distinguished Professor of Comparative Poetics and Global Politics at the School of Oriental and African Studies (SOAS), University of London. She was an inaugural faculty member for Yale-NUS, Singapore's first liberal arts college, for which she helped to develop the literature and humanities curriculum. Her expertise ranges across literature and the social sciences--particularly anthropology and political thought--and she is passionate about internationalizing higher education. She is also a literary translator with expertise in Persian, Georgian, and Russian literatures. Rebecca’s advising specialisms include:
