LIBERAL ARTS AND SCIENCES COLLABORATIVE
A partnership between seven higher educational institutions (Al Quds Bard College, American University of Afghanistan, American University of Central Asia, Ashesi University, Bard College, BRAC University, and Parami University), the Liberal Arts and Sciences Collaborative (LAS Collab) provides a unique environment where institutions seeking to adapt liberal arts and sciences educational models can consult with each other and access resources to assist in developing rigorous education protocols.
The LAS Collab leverages the collaborative potential of the Open Society University Network so that LAS practitioners can share experiences on issues such as curricular development, teaching, and advising, and identify training tools that strengthen LAS education.
Our goal is to support establishing and strengthening liberal arts and sciences institutions, particularly in regions that have historically had lower LAS representation. To this end, we are committed to spreading LAS education as a system of teaching and learning across the world. For LAS education to work as a system, there must be an enabling nexus of administration, curriculum, and pedagogy.

The Liberal Arts and Sciences Collaborative is hibernating from September 2024 onward.
We extend our deepest gratitude to all the LAS practitioners who have contributed to the success of LAS Collab.
Your dedication and enthusiasm have made a lasting impact, and we are proud of the many achievements we have accomplished together. While this chapter has come to a close, we remain committed to the values of liberal education and will continue to seek new opportunities to support and advance this mission. Thank you for your unwavering support.
It has been an honor and a privilege to be hosted by Parami University and the Open Society University Network.
