Alisse Waterston
Alisse Waterston is a cultural anthropologist with extensive experience guiding the development of new liberal arts and sciences programs, facilitating inclusive education practices, and supporting scholars in writing and publishing for academic and public audiences. She is Presidential Scholar and Professor of Anthropology Emerita at the City University of New York, John Jay College, a long-term Fellow of the Swedish Collegium for Advanced Study (SCAS), and a former International Scholar, affiliated with Tbilisi State University in the Republic of Georgia.
